These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you ("you," "your," or "user") and Bass Trophy Master ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Bass Trophy Master mobile application (the "App"). By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least the minimum age required in your jurisdiction (and at least 10 years old) and that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
2. The Nature of the App
Bass Trophy Master is a casual collection game. The App lets you collect, fuse, and showcase stylized cartoon-3D fish portraits across five fictional freshwater regions. No real betting takes place. No real-money winnings. No cash prizes. No links to real gambling sites. No in-app purchases. The Compass Map and Tackle Trio mechanics are decorative game devices — not wagering systems.
All artwork is original, stylized cartoon 3D — no real persons, no real venues, no real-brand tackle. Any resemblance to real-world locations, brands, or individuals is purely coincidental.
3. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.
4. Restrictions
You agree NOT to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense any portion of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
- Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Use automated tools (bots, scripts, scrapers) to interact with the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or its supporting infrastructure
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices on the App
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including illustrations, characters, fish portraits, dockside scenes, the brand name, the logo, sound elements (if any), text, and code — is owned by Bass Trophy Master or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or other proprietary materials except as expressly stated.
6. User Data & Local Storage
Your in-app progress (collection state, streak count, voyage entries, settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not back up your progress to our servers. Reinstalling the App or switching devices will reset your progress unless you use a future cloud-save feature (not currently offered).
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor that any defects will be corrected.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL BASS TROPHY MASTER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. Our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us for the App in the past twelve months (which, for a free app, is zero) or (b) US $25.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bass Trophy Master, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
10. Third-Party Services
The App may incorporate third-party services (such as Google Play, Firebase, AppsFlyer, and OneSignal). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties.
11. Updates & Changes
We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. Updates may be required for continued use. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time with or without notice.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, 13, and 14 survive termination.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements on the subject.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes took effect. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
